Why Canine Fitness Matters.

At Flex and Paws, we understand the importance of keeping your dog healthy, active, and pain-free. Whether you're supporting a growing puppy, a performance athlete, or a cherished senior, our customised fitness programmes are designed to help your dog thrive.

Dogs, like humans, need more than just walking or running to stay fit. While these activities are great for cardiovascular health, they don’t target the full range of muscle groups or address flexibility, balance, and core strength. Over time, this can lead to muscle imbalances, reduced performance, or even injury.

Our programmes address these gaps by incorporating targeted exercises that strengthen key areas, improve coordination, and support overall mobility. From preventing injuries to boosting confidence and vitality, a well-rounded fitness plan is essential for your dog's health and happiness.

Empowering your dog’s health, strength and happiness

Canine fitness and conditioning includes muscle strengthening (a bit like doggy pilates) as well as cardio training.

  • Core Strength: Essential for balance, stability, and injury prevention.

  • Flexibility: Helps your dog move freely and reduces the risk of strains.

  • Coordination and Balance: Important for agility, climbing, and navigating uneven terrain.

  • Joint Mobility: Keeps your dog comfortable and able to move without stiffness
